Why wool?

Glad you asked! Merino wool is the world’s finest and softest type of wool, making it one of nature’s magical fibers. It easily absorbs and dissipates moisture and regulates your body temperature, keeping you toasty warm in colder weather and cool and fresh in higher temps. Not only that, it pills less than cashmere and has lasting durability so you can enjoy your heirloom longer.

Where are the sweaters and accessories made?

Le Lion’s pieces are knit in a family-run factory in Italy. We use the finest yarns available.  Each sweater is meticulously hand-linked—a method of seaming pieces of a garment together.

How does monogramming work?

Our monograms offer a playful twist on the traditional. You can choose between 1 and 4 letters and we finish them with hand-applied sequins.  You can also choose a date of up to 6 numbers.

Can I do a custom monogram or use a different font?

For the moment, we only offer the options listed. 

Do you have any stock that I can order for immediate delivery?

There’s often a small selection of premade stock. Email us info@lelion.com for more info.

Where is Le Lion sold?

Currently, Le Lion is only available on our website.  Please look at the "Where to Find Us" section on our website or follow us on Instagram at @lelioncollection to learn about our upcoming in-store events and trunkshows.

Where is the embellishment done?

All of Le Lion’s embroidery and embellishment is done in New York City.  Our pet customization is done in LA.  

How do I know my size?

Refer to the product page for the fit of each sweater.  There is descriptive sizing information on each product page.  We also include photos on model so you can see fit.  If you have more questions, please feel free to send us an email at info@lelion.com

How long will customization take?

Since each embellishment is personalized just for you, it can take anywhere from 4-6 weeks.

Orders

How long will my order take?

Usually the customized order takes anywhere from 4-6 weeks, start to finish.

What is the status of my order?

We will send you an email once your item has shipped. If you have any questions email us at info@lelion.com, and put STATUS plus your Order Number in the subject line.

How will I know when my order has shipped?

You will receive an email from us with a tracking number. If your tracking number isn’t updating or working, please reach out to us as soon as you can at info@lelion.com.

Care

How do I care for my knits?
We recommend dry cleaning or hand washing. To hand wash, use gentle soap and cold water. Please be sure to turn the garment inside out and lay flat to dry. Merino wool gets better with every wash!

Shipping & Returns

Is my personalized item returnable or exchangeable?

Since the item was made especially for you, it cannot be returned or exchanged. If for some reason you are not satisfied, send us an email, and we will do our best to address the issue.

Shipping charges?

We offer two options: Flat rate, UPS Ground ($10), and Overnight ($25)
We do not have international shipping at the moment, but we are working on it. Please check back.

Repairs?
Le Lion sweaters and accessories are meant to last a lifetime. In the event you need a repair, email us at info@lelion.com, and put REPAIR plus your Order Number in the subject line.
